In these one and a half years we have reviewed more than 400 applications, mainly iOS and android, as well as a lot of previews, aiding a lot of developers in finding out any problems of their apps before they publish them. A lot of them rely on us and prefer us to other review sites because we are free and because of our thorough reviews, including suggestions that we propose to make their apps better( especially regarding the last part, a lot of developers have thanked us and their next updates included our proposals). While we could ask some amount of money for our reviews, we do not do it, thinking of the lot small companies and stand-alone developers that do not have any money to spare.

What is more, we have decided that any type of advertisement would not apply to our site. Although a lot of such offers have reached our mailbox, especially now that the mobile markets have grown large, we have rejected all of them.

We have reached a point where we face a financial issue and we cannot upgrade our services. This includes hosting more reviews and purchasing more devices so as to employ new members to serve even more review enquiries and for our reviews to become more accurate.

We assume that if every one that had his application reviewed by our site donated €5, we would have raised a fund that would allow us to cover all our operational costs for the next 3 years.

We would be very happy if each developer donated even €1. It would make us very proud and motivated to keep up the good work, so as Shineapp to continue to make the mobile apps even better and more well-known.
